SUMMER PRODUCTION COSTUME INFORMATION

The theme for this year's production is "The Greatest Showman" because we truly believe that Penyrheol is the greatest school!

We are thrilled to announce that our Year 3 students will be performing three choreographed dances to the iconic music of ABBA. The students have been practicing diligently and we can assure you that their performances are going to be absolutely spectacular.

In order to make this production a memorable experience for everyone involved, we kindly request your assistance in sourcing and organizing costumes for your child. We want to create a visually stunning show and we are aiming for costumes that have the "wow factor."

For the ABBA-themed dances, we encourage you to think disco! Flares, sparkle, and wigs are all fantastic options to consider.

We understand that organizing costumes can be a challenge, but we truly believe that with your support, we can create a truly extraordinary production.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support. We cannot wait to showcase the talent and hard work of our Year 3 students in their ABBA-inspired dances. With your help, we are confident that this will be a production to remember!

Warm regards,

Mrs Rimell and Mrs Rabey

Next, we found ourselves at our local Loughor estuary, where we donned our journalist hats and embarked on a quest for knowledge.

In a heartwarming display of compassion and creativity, B3 children recently made 61 Positive Posies; a heartwarming project to spread joy across the community through random acts of kindness. Inspired by the spirit of giving, Penyrheol embarked on a mission to repurpose recycled wedding flowers from a local wedding venue into beautiful bouquets for those in need of a pick-me-up. Armed with scissors, ribbons, and boundless enthusiasm, the children eagerly set to work, carefully arranging the flowers into vibrant bunches bursting  love. Their efforts not only breathed new life into once-forgotten blooms but also illuminated the power of kindness to uplift and inspire. As these blossoms found their way into the hands of recipients, their simple yet profound gesture served as a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can bloom into something truly beautiful. The joy and excitement radiating from the children as they take our beloved school dog Gracie down to the gym is truly lovely to see. The presence of Gracienot only adds an extra layer of warmth and comfort but also fosters a sense of responsibility and empathy among the children. As they interact with her, they learn valuable lessons in empathy, compassion, and companionship, creating memories that they often talk about.
